Will Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 41906 Fit Around the Spare Tire on a 2008 Ford E-350 Van
Question:
Will this hitch fit around the spare tire on my 2008 e350 XLT 12-passenger van? Ive seen other hitches that interfere with the spare tire and so you cant have both the hitch and a spare!

The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 41906, is designed to fit around the factory spare tire on your 2008 Ford E-350 Van. So you will not have to remove the spare tire in order to install this hitch. It may be beneficial to temporarily remove it to make installation easier. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a link to a video showing a typical installation for you to view.
If you plan to do some towing the recommended ball mount is # BWBMHD30010, and you can use pin and clip # PC3. For a ball you can use # A-90 (2 inch diameter) or # 19286 (2-5/16 inch diameter). For trailer wiring use Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, # C56020. I have included a link to the installation instructions for this wiring harness for reference.
