Smallest Available Trailer Brake Controller for 2017 Toyota Tundra
Question:
I have a 2017 Tundra SR and need a brake controller that will fit in a space that is only 2 1/2 by 1 3/4 inches. The OEM connector was stowed right behind this panel. I will not be towing anything heavier than 8K.. Mostly a travel trailer.

Most of the better aftermarket trailer brake controllers are pretty much the same general size, that size being larger than your available mounting space which is 2-1/2 x 1-3/4-inches. The excellent Prodigy P3 # 90195 that you referenced measures 3-5/8" wide x 4-5/8" long x 1-3/8" tall. The Voyager # 39510 measures 3" wide x 5" long x 1-1/2" tall and the Hopkins Agility # HM47294 measures 3" wide x 5" long x 1-1/4" tall.
Note that if you want a proportional type controller like one of the above models there are mounting requirements that vary among them that could affect installation in the space you have. The Voyager, for instance, has to be mounted within a 90-degree vertical plane in order to work properly. The smallest controller we have is the Draw-Tite Activator IV # 5504 which is a time-delay type but this still measures 4-3/16" long x 2-3/4" wide x 1" tall, still too wide.
If you use any Tekonsha or Draw-Tite controller you can use harness # 3031-P to connect it. I recommend the P3 # 90195 for its storable settings and easy-read display.
