How to Activate 12 Volt Accessory Circuit of 7-Way Adapter part # 30717 for Battery Charging

Question:

I need to make it so my tow car the Subaru Crosstrek can charge my tear trailer battery while driving. I have installed a 4 pin connector I did so before realizing that wouldnt charge the trailer battery, and now have part # 30717 to adapt my 4 way to a 7 way for charging purposes. Connecting the 7 way to the 4 way looks very easy, but I cant seem to find a video anywhere on etrailer, or anywhere else online, that shows how to connect the 7 way to my tow cars power supply. Its a time sensitive question, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,

Connecting the part # 30717 to the battery of your vehicle is actually pretty easy. All you need to do is run a length of 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) through a circuit breaker like part # 9510 to the positive battery post of your vehicle and that circuit would be complete.
