I do have an option that will allow you to open the rear hatch on your 2014 Audi Q5 with a bike rack installed, however, it is not reccomend to open the rear hatch of a vehicle while a trunk mount bike rack is installed either with or without the bikes attached. This is a result of the bikes coming into contact with the vehicle roof while the hatch is opened.

In order to access the rear hatch of your vehicle while a bike rack is installed, you will want to use a hitch and hitch mounted bike rack like the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75940 in addition to the Thule Apex 2 Bike Rack part # TH9024XT as this option will allow you to tilt the bike rack away from the rear hatch to allow for easy access.
