What is the Distance From Ground to Hitch with 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan?
Question:
If a class 3 hitch is installed on a 2017 Dodge Caravan, what is the measurement from the hitch to the ground? I will be using this for a carrier for my husband's scooter, which together weighs about 275 lbs. I want to be sure that I have enough clearance under the carrier, especially when going in/out of driveways.

When installed on your 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, the class III Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 75579 measures 13 inches from the top of the receiver tube to the ground. The class III Curt Hitch # 13364 is going to measure 13-1/4 inches from the top of the receiver to the ground. Keep in mind that you would need to use Curt stabilizing straps # 18050 to secure the scooter carrier or the warranty on the hitch would be voided.
