7-Way Trailer Wiring and Brake Controller for 2004 Honda Pilot
Question:
I have a 2004 Honda Pilot. I purchased a RV that has a 7 RV plug. Seems I can only find the flat 4 tgat connects to my Pilot. What are my options to get the 7 RV that I need? Thank you.

We can help you equip your 2004 Honda Pilot with a 7-way type trailer connector that will enable you to tow an RV with this type of wiring configuration. Typically 7-way plugs are found on trailers that have electric brakes, and these require a 7-way on the vehicle along with a brake controller to activate the trailer brakes.
You will first install a 4-pole harness, kit # 118336, and then convert this to the 7-way format using our kit # ETBC7. This also provides all the parts to wire a trailer brake controller such as the reliable and easy-to-use Prodigy P3 # 90195, which is the unit I recommend. I have linked installation videos and articles to help you.
