Will Installation of a Stealth Hitch on 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 Affect Tailgate Sensors

Does the installation of a etrailer hitch interfere with either the automatic tailgate sensors or the keyless go function on my 2016 GLC 300 4Matic?

I spoke with my contact about the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # SH47MR that is confirmed to fit your 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC300. He stated that the tailgate sensors on the vehicle will still work great with the hitch installed. You will simply need to place your foot on either side of the center of the hitch so the sensors can pick up your movement. They have not had any issues with this function or the Keyless Go feature on your vehicle with the trailer hitch installed.
