The Curt Class IV Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 14250, will fit your 2006 Dodge Sprinter w/ OEM step bumper after some minor modification to the installation hardware.
The Curt hitch instructions state that for the factory step bumper models, the corner of the 1/4 inch spacer plates, that are included with the hitch, will have to be broken off to allow the reinstallation of the step bumper.
There will be no modification to the actual bumper of the Dodge Sprinter.
