The Curt trailer hitch part # C13144 that you referenced weighs 35 lbs. I pulled up the carrier you mentioned and it is designed to fit a 2 inch hitch like this so it would fit and work well in that regard. That being said I have a better hitch solution I can offer.
The Draw Tite hitch part # 75876 is a better option for hitch mounted accessories. This hitch does not require a stabilizer strap like the Curt does when carrying non-supported loads like the part # 18050 so it will be an easier option for you.
This hitch also weighs 35 lbs.
