Question:

Will this element fit a Suburban SW6DE RV waterheater? Thanks.

I was looking through the manual for the Suburban SW6DE water heaters and found that the Suburban replacement is similar but shorter than the Camco model # CAM02143. It looks like the original one used in that water heater was discontinued and replaced with 520900. So I do believe that Camco Water Heater Element - Screw-In - 1500 Watts - 120 Volts Item # CAM02143 will work.

Another option is Camco RV Replacement Water Heater Element - Universal - 1,500W/120V
Item # CAM04363. Both of these heating elements are designed for water tanks with 8" minimum tank diameter.

I have the subject suburban water heater in my 2021 RV. I want to carry a spare heating element and anode along with appropriate socket on board. Need a recommendation please. Thanks, Paul in VA

@SuburbanE If you have a Suburban Mor-Flo heater, the # CAM11563 replacement Anode Rod which measures 3/4 inch in diameter and 9-1/2 inches long would work for you. The Camco # CAM11563 is listed as a replacement for a 1500 watt element.

I have 2018 MPG 2220 and I have burned up the electric hot water heatiing element.. I am not sure if the element is a screw in with a special wrench or universal type ??? Any idea what I have?? if I had to guess I'd say screw in type. If so do you have the special wrench? Thank you.

I wasn't able to locate any information on your water heater. Is there a model number or manufacturer stamped onto the unit?
