Will Trailer Tailgate Lift-Assist Work With 4 Ft Folding Tailgate

I have a 2015 trailer it is a 7ft by12 and it has a folding gate can I use the gorilla lift for this gate. Its 4 ft long gate that folds in half

The Gorilla-Lift Tailgate Lift Assist # GL1 is designed for trailers with side rail height from 12 to 24 inches from the trailer bed and a tailgate height from 4 ft to 6 ft from the trailer bed.

We also have the Rack'Em Double Barrel # RA-27C that requires a side rail height from 10 to 15 inches form the trailer bed and a tailgate height at least 44 inches form the trailer bed.

If your trailer and tailgate fit this criteria, either of these lift-assist systems will work for you. I have attached a couple of links to videos for these lifts you can check out.
