Could Reese M5 27K Fifth Wheel Hitch Be Used in 2015 Ford F-350 Short Bed with Rail Kit

I have a 2015 ford f350 6foot bed iwant to use your Reese M5 Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Single Jaw - 27,000 lbs Item # RP30922 can i turn 90 deg without hitting my cab?

If the trailer you plan to tow has a Sidewinder or Reese Revolution pin box installed on it you would be able to make 90 degree turns with the Reese hitch # RP30922 and your short bed truck.

Otherwise you'd need to use the Reese Elite Slider hitch part # RP30144 but this hitch has a much lower capacity at 18k.

Sidewinders are pin box specific so you will first need to know what pin box you have now in order to pick out the correct one.

There should be a sticker or a stamping on the OEM pin box of the trailer that will list the pin box number that is on the trailer.

Once you figure out which pin box you have you can check the FAQ I attached that has a chart that shows the correct Sidewinder to get based on which pin box you have.
