Will Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loops Work With Andersen Ultimate Adapter

Question:

This Curt GN ball and chain loop kit will work with 2018 RAM 3500 long-bed diesel dually with factory FW/GN prep kit and Andersen Ultimate FW Connection 2 aluminum? My concern is that if the diameter of the chain loop bases is more than 3inch itll be a pretty tight squeeze to fit the Andersen hitch base between the chain loop bases. What is the diameter of the chain loop bases? What directions can I point the chain loop bases? Might be pretty crowded to have them lean inwards towards the hitch base. Probably would prefer to have them lean backwards towards the tailgate. Are there other GN ball and chain loop products I should consider instead of this one?

I went to the warehouse and took some measurements of the Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loops # C60618 for you.

The outside to outside dimension of the loop is 4-1/4 inches. I have attached a photo of the loop with the dimensions shown you can check out. I also attached a photo of the base and loop. The base measures 2-3/4 inches and from the outside edge of the base to the end of the loop the measurement is 4-3/4 inches. Per the instructions the chain loops should face the center of the truck bed.

We do not have another ball and safety chain kit available for your Ram.
