The Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform Style # S64650 referenced in your question does have a total weight capacity of 70 pounds, however this is limited to 35 pounds per bike. This is because the individual wheel hoops are not designed to safely secure heavier bikes like your 50 pound e-bike.

To transport your bike, I instead recommend looking at a bike carrier like the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR that is designed specifically for heavier electric bikes. This particular rack can hold up to 2 bikes at 80 pounds each. Locks are included to secure both the rack to your vehicle and your bike to the rack. It is compatible with 2 inch trailer hitch receivers.
