Recommended Electric A-Frame Jack for 10,000 Pound Travel Trailer

Question:

I own a 28 foot travel trailer 10,000 lbs loaded . It came with a 3500 lbs A frame electric jack. after 1 year it failed. After it failed I upgraded to the Husky Brute 4500 lbs jack that just went out today, 1 week after the one year warranty expired. Im currently looking for the best jack you could recommend, at this time I dont care about price I just would like one to last more than a year and would like to deal with a company that stands behind their products. What would you recommend?

I recommend looking at the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-3755. This is a very nice electric jack that has a lift capacity of 5,000 pounds, which is more than enough for your 10,000 pound travel trailer. Going with a jack with a capacity that you will never quite reach is simply going to allow the jack to not work as hard. This will typically lead to a much longer lifespan.

This trailer jack has a total lift of 23 inches and a retracted bracket eight of 9-1/2 inches. The outer tube has a diameter of 2-3/16 inches. A built-in clutch will protect the gears and motor and the housing is made of vacuum-formed plastic to protect it from the elements. A great feature on this particular jack is that it actually includes a 2-year warranty.

I have attached a video demonstration on this product so you can see all of the features in action.
