Swagman XTC4 Shank Replacement
Question:
Hello! I have a Swagman xtc 4 Bike trailer. To be able to fit the shank on 1 1/4 inches hitch, I asked a welder to machine the original 2 inches shank. Now, I changed my car and I have a 2 inches hitch. I need to get back and I am looking to buy a new 2 inches shank and I cant find it on your website.

I do have an option for you that will still allow you to use the Swagman XTC4 4-Bike Rack part # S64665 on a 2" hitch receiver, however, Swagman does not sell a replacement shank for this bike rack.
In order to use a 1-1/4" bike rack on a 2" hitch receiver, you will need the Hitch Reducer part # HT02. You may also want to consider the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock part # 63232 to secure the sleeve to the hitch receiver as it has both locking and anti-rattle features.
