If your 2008 Ford E450 Camper has a factory tow package, then connecting the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 brake controller will be simple. You simply use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # 3035-P. The factory plug is located beneath the dash, near the center console to the left.

If you do not have a factory 7-way, I recommend using the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7. This will give you the wires, connectors, circuit breakers, and other products you need to install a brake controller on your E450. If you don't have a current 4-way trailer connector, I recommend starting with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56020. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights.
