I have a 2011 ford f150 2wd 5.0 with tow package. trailer weight is 6040 lbs, fully loaded with truck total weight is 11980. with full tank of gas and family loaded. Max gcwr of truck is 13500 lbs. I am upgrading from my old drawtite hitch that pulled just fine. Thank you for you time

When choosing a weight distribution system, the most important factor to consider is the total tongue weight of your towing setup. This will include both the loaded tongue weight of your trailer, along with any added cargo weight coming from behind the rear axle of your Ford F-150. Ideally, you will want this number to fall somewhere around the middle of the tongue weight capacity range for the system that you choose.
A trailer tongue weight should be around 10-15% of the trailer's total weight. With this in mind, we can estimate the tongue weight of your trailer to be between 600 and 900 pounds. I recommend verifying the loaded tongue weight, as if the trailer is ready for a trip, with a tongue weight scale like the etrailer # e99044.
The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System # FA94-00-1000 referenced in your question has a tongue weight capacity of 400 to 1,000 pounds and should work very nicely for your setup. As long as your total tongue weight doesn't creep up over 1,000 pounds when loading your trailer and adding cargo weight behind the rear axle of your vehicle, this will work perfectly. I do not recommend going to a lower capacity model. This system will do a good job of evenly distributing weight over the axles of your F-150 and trailer for added stability and control. The 2 integrated points of sway control will also limit side-to-side movement on the trailer.
You will just need to add a compatible hitch ball like the 2 inch # A-90 or the 2-5/16 inch # 63840 if you do not have one already.
I have attached a video demonstration on this weight distribution system as well as an FAQ article that you might find helpful.
