Trailer Hitch and Wiring Recommendation for 2017 Toyota Sienna
Question:
I want to pull our small Star Craft Pop Top Camper... with our new Van and which hitch would be appropriate for my needs? The camper is 15 years old but in excellent condition as it is used once per year and stored indoors. I also provide yearly maintenance for this camper. The Van is a 6 cylinder vehicle. When I purchased the Van I discovered that the fact that it is a AWD vehicle made it necessary that there would be no room for a spare tire or jack due to making room for the AWD design...ie...Run Flat Tires would be necessary. My question to you is...what trailer hitch should I specify for our Toyota Sienna Van - Limited~6 cylinder AWD for our small camper? Thank you,

For your 2017 Toyota Sienna the Draw Tite hitch part # 75237 is a confirmed fit and would work well for you. I attached an install video for this hitch for you to check out too.
For trailer wiring you then would want the part # 118648 which is a custom fit for your van.
Since you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not include a ball mount with the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, check out the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
