Auto Sliding 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for 2016 Ram 2500 Short bed with Factory Tow Package
Question:
Hi, What is the best option for me? I dont want to have to get out and adjust when making turns and Im concerned about the height of our camper after install. Thanks so much!

The only auto sliding fifth wheel hitch we carry is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide. There is an 18K hitch, # DM8550034 and a 21K, # DM8550035. Both install into your 2016 Ram 2500 with the factory prep package using # DM6099.
Any of other sliding hitch we have will require you to exit your truck to engage the slider.
Both will be 15-1/4 inches from the bed of your truck in the lowest setting. To determine if this will work with your trailer you can measure from the ground to 15-1/4 inches above your truck's bed and then measure from the ground to the bottom of your trailer's king pin. The difference between those two measurements will tell you how level the trailer is going to be.
