How Does Trailer Battery Wire to Replacement 7-Way on Trailer
Question:
Im installing a new 7 way harness to my camper. I have all the wires connected to the campers existing wires except for the positive and negative. What is the correct way to connect up my 12v battery with the 7 way harness and then back into the existing camper positive and negative wires? Also, where/how do I connect the in-line fuse holder? I have a 10 awg fuse holder with a 20 amp fuse camper specs.

Basically the 12 volt circuit of the 7-way would run to the positive post of the battery you have on your trailer and then for the ground of the battery you could run it to the frame of the trailer or you could run it back to the ground wire of the 7-way.
If you wanted to install the fuse holder it would get installed inline on the power wire of the battery between the 7-way and the positive post.
