Parts Needed to Install 7-Way Trailer Connector on 2008 Land Rover LR2

Hi, I would like to know what wire to buy to install on my Land Rover LR2 2008. Your finder tool tells me to get a 4-way flat connector, but the trailer I want to connect is a 7-way connector. Do you sell 7-way connectors for the LR2?

To install a 7-way on your 2008 Land Rover LR2 you would need to start with a 4-way. That will provide the turn signal functions and then you can use a 7-way adapter to convert it to the style of connector you need.

For the 4-way you would want to start with the part # C59236 which is a universal wiring harness that's been tested as a fit for your vehicle.

Now if your trailer does not have brakes all you would need is the part # 37185 as an adapter to convert the 4-way to a 7-way.

If you do have trailer brakes, you would need the # ETBC7 instead of the # 37185 and a brake controller. This kit comes with everything needed to wire up the 7-way and install a brake controller.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
