Is Teflon Tape Needed On Either End Of Sturgis Propane Hose # 100383-48-MBS
Question:
Do I need to apply Teflon tape to either end? If so do you sell it? I suspect the 1/2 FIP does need sealant, but the 3/8 MIP fitting had sealant on it

Expert Reply:
When connecting hoses like the Sturgis Propane Hose # 100383-48-MBS, The 1/2 inch flare swivel fitting does not need any Teflon tape or sealant.
Teflon tape or sealant can be used on pipe fittings like the 3/8 MPT on the opposite end
