Is There a Trailer Hitch Rated Higher Than 3,500 lbs for a 2002 Minnie Winnie 30V?
Question:
I have a 2002 Minnie Winnie 30v. It is equipped with a 3,500lb receiver hitch. I would like to beef it up to a 5,000 - 6,000 lb hitch. I realize that the chassis extension sometimes causes these limitations. Is there a receiver hitch made that would safely allow for beefing up the receiver hitch?

You can upgrade to a beefier hitch on your 2002 Minnie Winnie with the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C13702, as long as the frame of your Winnie is 18 inches to 51 inches wide. It is a Class III-rated hitch with a maximum tongue weight of 500 lbs and max gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs. And though the hitch is capable of pulling that much weight, that does not necessarily mean your motorhome can. You will need to check your owner's manual to figure out the amount of weight your '02 Minnie Winnie can haul.
I have attached a link to a video review of this product for you to take a look at.
