Which Roof Rack and Multi-Kayak Carrier can be Used With a 2012 Mazda 3 Hatchback?

Hi, I have a 2012 Mazda 3 Hatchback and am looking to add a roof rack. My main goal is to carry two 2 kayaks, each kayak is 10 ft in length and am wondering what options I have. Thank you in advance

We can get you set up to transport a pair of 10-foot kayaks on your 2012 Mazda 3 hatchback. For a roof rack, I recommend going with the Yakima; it has aero crossbars, # Y00425, which are used in conjunction with the Landing Pad # Y00233 and Skyline Towers # Y53TR that install onto fixed mounting points on your Mazda's roof.

To transport your 10-foot kayaks on the Rhino Rack, you can use the Thule The Stacker # TH830. It mounts directly onto the crossbars and utilizes a combination of bow/stern tie-down straps, as well as straps with cam buckles to help secure your kayak. The Stacker comes with the straps necessary to secure one kayak, so I recommend using cinch straps, # TH523 and tie-downs # TH855XT to secure your additional kayak.
