Recommended Weight Distribution System for a Trailer With an Approximant 750 lbs Tongue Weight

Question:

I have a 29foot travel trailer with a tw of about 550lbs, plus 60lb of propane, an automotive battery, wood in the back of my truck, and of course my cases of milk. I figure on average I will be around 750lb tw. I believe this system would work out.....am I right?

To choose a weight distribution system you will need to go by the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.

So, with this mind, the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System, # FA94-00-1000, would work well with your setup as long as any added weight at the rear of your tow vehicle does not exceed the total tongue weight of 1,000 lbs.

The Fastway e2 does not include a trailer ball with the hitch. I recommend # A-90 2 Inch Ball or # 63840 2-5/16 Inch Trailer Ball with this weight distribution system.
