Ball Mount Recommendation for 2004 Honda CR-V Towing Trailer with Coupler Height 18 inches
Question:
Looking at buying the Curt class III hitch receiver for my 2004 Honda CR-V 4-wheel drive model to tow a standard rental trailer. company says to measure height at 18 inches. What size should the do I need on the ball hitch?

Sounds like the rental company has given out the coupler height of their trailer when level. Since we know that when the Curt hitch part # 13535 is installed on a 2004 Honda CR-V that the hitch height is 15-1/4 inches that means you would need a rise of right at 2-3/4 inches to tow their trailer level.
The part # 2753 has a rise of 2-3/4 inches so it would be perfect. For a 2 inch hitch ball you'd want # 63845, for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball # 19260.
