Bolt Hole to Receiver Face and Bracket Top to Receiver Top for Curt Hitch C13702 and Draw-TIte 5350
Question:
On the curt or draw tite universal rv hitches what is the distance from the forward bolt hole on the brackets to the front of the 2inch receiver opening? In other words how far back from the rear bumper can the hitch be? Also what is the distance from the bolt points on the brackets to the top of the cross bar, in other words, how much clearance does the hitch allow between the frame and top of cross bar? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
On Curt trailer hitch # C13702 from the face of the receiver to the center of the nearest set of bolt holes is approximately 4.25 inches. From the top of the brackets where they attach to the bottom of the frame to the top of the receiver tube is 2 inches. The same measurements can be found on the Draw-Tite hitch # 5350.
