Electric Trailer Brake Controller Recommended for a 2005 Toyota Landcruiser
Question:
Have a drawtite model 5500 brake controller not working, Looking at proportional controller, will electrical hookup be same for a drawtite or Tekonsha sp Will be on 05 Toyota Landcruiser, what model do you recommend Thanks

Our most popular electric brake controller for the 2005 Toyota Landcruiser, and one of our top controllers overall is the Prodigy P3 # 90195. This is the top of the line with an LCD and five storable settings.
A more economical recommendation is the Primus IQ # TK90160. It installs within 90-degrees on a vertical plane and only works with electric brakes but is a high quality controller.
If your Landcruiser has the connector under the dash the adapter is # 3040-P. This is the same adapter that your Draw-Tite Activator II 5500 controller uses.
