Recommended 7-Way Trailer to 4-Way Vehicle Adapter
Question:
I have a 2011 Honda Odyssey and I have purchased the 4 way wiring harness that you had recommended. The trailer I want to pull has a 7 pin connector. Is there an adapter for the 4 way on the van to the 7 pin on the trailer? I do not need to wire it for trailer brakes, so am only interested in the brake lights and turn signals operating. Thank you!

The most popular 7-way to 4-way adapter we have is the part # 37185.
This part will plug into your vehicle's 4-way and gives you a 7-way connection to connect your trailer. There will be some extra wires that will be unused. Just wrap the wires with electrical tape incase you decide to install a brake controller at a later date.
The adapter will also include a mounting bracket and hardware to mount to your vehicle.
