Installing the Vehicle Wiring Harness on a 2013 Toyota Highlander Limited
Question:
Why do you place the converter under the dash using tape on the C56217, and put the converter behind a side panel for the T One 118449? Does one run hotter than the other?

On the 2013 Toyota Highlander Limited, if you do not already have the power converter installed, the wiring harness will connect under the driver's side dash for either the Curt # C56217 or the Tekonsha T-One # 118449.
This harness fits different model year Highlanders. After 2013, the location where the wiring harness installs moved to the rear of the Highlander.
