You will need the Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury, # D13025, which will allow you to connect to the return line of the factory transmission cooler. Part # D13025 allows you to connect to transmission return line without flaring the line when installing on your 1999 Ford F-250 Powerstroke.

Installing the cooler behind the front grille, but in front of the radiator will provide the greatest cooling efficiency. You will want to measure a mounting location for part # D13105, as the cooler is 12-5/8 inches tall by 16-5/8 inches wide and 3/4 inches thick.

I have linked an FAQ on transmission coolers that you may find as a good reference.
