Will the Firestone Ride Rite Air Bags # 2190 Fit on a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 Crew Cab Truck
Question:
I have a 2004 gmc sierra 1500 4x4 crewcab truck. I want air bags for the rear but do not want to buy the sport rite. I tow a heavy trailer and wondering if i can make the ride rite 2190 fit my truck as it will fit the 1500hd models.

The 2004 Chevrolet/GMC 1500 series pickups do not have enough room between the springs and wheel and tire for the Ride-Rite kit, item # F2190. The diameter of the convoluted air bag is too large to fit.
The correct kit for your truck is the Air Lift Ride Control, part # AL59501.
