How Much Height is Added by Thule Roof Mounted Cargo Basket
Question:
Hi, I have 98 land cruiser which has factory cross bars and I am wondering how much height will this roof rack basket will add? I would like to have a car that can go in and out of most of parking structure with any problems. Thanks!

The Thule Roof Mounted Cargo Basket # TH859XT has an outside measurement of 6 inches tall. When you factor in the mounting hardware the basket adds about 8 inches to the top of a vehicle. You would also have to consider the height of the cargo that you add.
