Bolt Leader Size for Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11232

Question:

What size bolt leader is needed for the bolts that come with Curtis # C11232? I bought this hitch for my 2014 VW Passat 1.8 Turbo and I now have to reinstall it on my wifes Passat due to divorce and need some bolt leaders for the reinstall on the other car.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11232 referenced in your question uses 7/16 inch bolt leader like the Tow Ready # 80103-1.

If you need a complete replacement hardware kit, you will just use part # RHK. Once on the product page, you will type C11232 into the "Hitch Item Number" box and we will assemble all of the necessary installation hardware for the hitch. This will include the 7/16 inch bolt leader.

This trailer hitch is confirmed to fit the 2014-2015 VW Passat 1.8L Turbo models and 2012-2013 VW Passat 2.5L models. Please let me know if the vehicle you will be installing this on is a different year and I will be happy to recommend a trailer hitch that is confirmed to fit.
