Trailer Wiring Harness and Trailer Hitch for a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan

Question:

2012 Dodge Grand Caravan - Stow nGo. Noticed that on some hitches an alternate wiring harness is required for vehicles where the tail lights are on separate switches from the turn signals. Does this apply to the Draw-Tite Class III hitch as well? Just looking to clarify which wiring harness we would need. Thanks

I am happy to report that all of the trailer wiring harnesses available for your 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan with Stow'n'Go seats will fit regardless of which hitch is used.

For a trailer hitch Draw-Tite hitch # 75579 is a popular option for your Grand Caravan. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation for you.

For a trailer wiring harness you can use # C56331 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of your Grand Caravan. I have linked a video showing how it installs as well.

I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
