Adapter Compatibility for Fitting Rhino Rack Kayak Carrier S510 to Square Crossbars
Question:
I recently installed a Rhino 2500 square crossbar system on my 2003 Ford Taurus, naked roof, non-wagon. I also installed the S510 kayak carrier two. I found on your website an optional channel installation kit, part number KC-FK10. I wanted to know if this kit would make the carrier more stable and/or sturdy on the crossbar. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Also, Ill be sending pics soon. I love the carrier system so far!! Thanks,

The # S510 installed on a square bar roof rack will work because it is a universal fit. The stability is an issue as the KC-FK10 has been discontinued but was designed to help specifically with square bar applications.
