For the rubber air spring in a cushioned 5th wheel pin box like the 5th Airborne Air Ride coupler # 5AB-S500-700 a good initial setting is 80- to 100-psi. From there you will adjust pressure up or down to achieve the best subjective ride quality. There is not absolute rule for correct pressure for any given trailer.
You should never exceed 120-psi under any circumstances and deflate the air spring when the trailer will be idle for more than a week or so.
