How to Install the Boat Trailer Roller Bunk Bracket # DL21762

Question:

How does the bracket attach to the rail? Is there some kind of hole in rail or do I need to drill one to bolt the bracket onto the rail? What keeps the rail from flipping off the bracket? Can I use the existing u bolts that currently are on with the wooden bunks? I ordered the four brackets and set of the 5foot standard rails. I have a 15foot 6inch Sea Nympth boat on a 2000 # trailer with the cross members 48inch apart.

Expert Reply:

The Boat Trailer Roller Bunk Bracket # DL21762 will secure to the Roller Bunk by hooking around the bolt underneath the rollers. The slot in the bracket will be bolted to your trailer or your existing wooden bunks. The slot in the bracket allows it to be adjusted higher and lower on the bolts.

These brackets are designed to work with the 4 foot # DL21754 and 5 foot # DL21755 Roller Bunks by Dutton Lainson.
