The Draw Tite hitch part # 75234 is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Lincoln MKX. The hands-free liftgate will still function. The only area affected is right by the hitches receiver, it should function properly as long as you wave your foot not directly below the hitch receiver. So if you wave your foot to either side of the hitch tube it will still work just fine.
