Running Power Wire To Powered Light Converter For Trailer Wiring
Question:
What path do you suggest for getting the 12Vs from the battery to the light controller on a 2017 Toyota Yaris ia. I have already ordered the hitch and the wiring package but I see no way that would be safe and protected to get the 12V from the battery to the controller inside the back of the trunk area. It seems the most difficult part is leaving the engine compartment. They have built this thing very, very tight with little to no spare room for access into the inside of the car. How did you guys do it?

You can run a power wire in a couple different ways. You can run it through the interior or under the vehicle. To get inside the vehicle, you can either find a grommet in the firewall that is used by other wires, or is unused or you can run it under the car and through the grommet at your spare tire compartment. I've attached an article to help further.
