Will the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Fit on a 2017 GMC Acadia With OEM Roof Rack

I was wondering if the Yamkima Skybox NX 16 rooftop cargo box would fit and attach to my 2017 GMC Acadia Denali new body style? I have the side rails on top. I purchased the GMC crossbars that are recommended for this car and I want to make sure if Yakima Skybox 16 will fit to roof and crossbars before I order? Also, if I purchase and it doesn't fit, can I return it?

Even though the Yakima Skybox NX 16 # Y95AV has an undercut tail design to help gain rear access, you will still want to do some measuring to make sure that it will fit and allow you to gain access to your rear cargo area.
The measurements that you will need to take to see if the SkyBox NX 16 will fit your 2017 GMC Acadia is that the crossbar spread needs to be in between 24 inches and 36 inches, with max crossbar dimensions being 3-1/2 inches x 1-11/16 inches.
Then, to measure for rear hatch clearance, that needs to be at least 47 inches between the center of the front crossbar and the line where the roof and the hatch meet.
As long as your Acadia's OEM roof rack meets those measurements, the SkyBox 16 will be a perfect fit for your Acadia.
