For your 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country 4x4, I recommend the Demco Classic Base Plate Kit # DM9518200. I recommend installing these base plates using loctite threadlocker # LT37420. These base plates will work well with the Demco Excali-Bar III # DM9511013. This is a very nice tow bar that comes with the safety cables needed for connection.

For your tow bar wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which uses diodes to utilize your truck wiring while protecting it. This kit has a really nice and clean 6 way connection for the front of your truck to utilize the wire coil for connecting to your motorhome and giving you the option for those functions. You will need the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch for Towed Vehicle w/ Supplemental Braking System # RM-766 to give you the easy switch disconnect so you don't need to wrench each time you flat tow.

For your braking system, I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251 which will allow you to simply plug and play after installation. There is no further adjustment needed after the initial set up. Your vehicle will require the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751463 as well as the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 to ensure proper braking function due to this vehicle's design.

The final component for your complete system is a high-low adapter. I've attached an article to assist with determining your specific need and have linked a page to your options.
