The trailer hitch receiver from your 2007 Ford Taurus Sedan will not fit a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. For your Santa Fe Sport, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75772. This hitch will give you more options than the 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver on your Taurus, but most 1-1/4 inch accessories can easily work with a larger hitch without losing functionality using a reducer (adapter) like # HT02.
If you will be towing with this hitch, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118571 which will plug into your factory wiring behind the tail lights. It will draw power directly from the battery so you won't overload your system.
For a ball mount, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 5" Drop, 5-1/2" Rise - 7.5K - Black # BWTS10038B. This hitch is adjustable so you can tow a trailer level. It has two hitch ball options of 2 inch or 1-7/8 inch, and has a very nice stowable option for a clean look when not in use.
