Installation of the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System on a 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Question:

I have a 2015 F250 2WD that I am thinking of purchasing the Timbren suspension enhancer to help level out my truck when pulling my fifth wheel with 2200lbs pin weight. My rear axle does not have a peg, Is this going to be ok, also I took measurements and the distance between the frame and axle is 8.5s and the rubber and mounting bracket is 6.5s? will the system still work as designed? Thank you in advance.

The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System, # TFR250SDG, is designed to replace the bump stop on the frame of the 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty. Once installed the spring will not rest on the axle. The 6-1/2 inch measurement is correct, but you will need a spacer of about 1 inch to compensate for the peg not installed.

Timbren 1 Inch Spacer, # A25723-90AH00, will fit in between the spring and the bracket when installing. A new mounting bolt will be needed to mount both the spring and spacer to the bracket. The bolt will have to be purchased locally. You will need a 3/8 X 2-1/2 inch Grade 5 bolt.

I have linked an installation video of the Timbren Suspension System being installed on a 2012 Ford F-250 for you to review.
