Replacement Shoe, Springs and Magnets for Electric Brakes on 1996 Camper with 2.8K Axles
Question:
Hello. I have a 1996 camper with dexter 2.8 axles. They have the 10x1.5 brakes with the welded backplate. I know there isnt an assembly but do you have a complete kit with shoes, springs, magnets? Like I said its a 96 so its time for some new hardware and all. Thanks in advance

I do have a solution for you, however we do not currently have a complete kit that includes everything you will need to replace the brake parts on your 1996 camper.
For replacement electric brake shoe/lining, I recommend the Dexter # BP04-065. This 10 inch x 1-1/2 inch shoe pad will fit the brakes on your 2.8K axle.
Then for a replacement brake spring set, you can use # K71-362-00, which are designed to replace the springs on Dexter 10 inch x 1-1/2 inch brake assemblies.
For the brake magnets, the Dexter Replacement Trailer Brake Magnet Kit # BP01-068 is an older style, oval magnet. These will fit both 7 inch and 10 inch x 1-1/2 inch brake assemblies and includes the magnet, magnet clip and spring.
