For your 2014 Ford Flex with dual exhaust, I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Trailer Hitch, # 75679. This hitch has the 2 inch receiver opening and a tongue weight capacity of 400 lbs and this hitch has a towing capacity of 4000 lbs.
The exhaust must be lowered during installation, but the Draw-Tite hitch will require no drilling in to the vehicle's frame to install.
the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118472, is the wiring solution I recommend. This harness will plug-in to your vehicle's existing wring without cutting or splicing that would alter your vehicle's OEM wiring.
You will also need a ball mount and ball if you plan to tow a trailer. The etrailer ball Mount Kit, # 989900 will work well with the Draw-Tite hitch's 2 inch receiver opening. The kit has two ball mounts at different heights and includes both a 1-7/8 inch and 2 inch trailer hitch ball.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
I also attached two installation videos showing both the hitch and wiring harness installed on a 2014 Ford Flex for you to review.
