Wet Bolts, Bronze Bushings, and 1/2 Inch Shackle Straps to Use with Equa-Flex Equalizers
Question:
I have a 2011 model travel trailer, 6K GVWR, that came with the TrailAire Equaflex yoke equalizer suspension system and Ive been extremely satisfied with its operation. However, while Im not yet seeing any wear in the components, other than normal rusting of the bolts, Id like to replace the shackles with heavier ~1/2inch units, bushings with bronze, and wet bolts. 1. Since you have the components for these suspensions, Im presuming you would also have necessary parts I need? Or am I better going direct to Dexter? 2. Can I also replace the bushing and replace the main yoke attachment bolt with a wet bolt? 3. Do you have any specific recommendations, and 4. Is there additional information needed before you can recommend specific components? THX so much for your assistance!

We do have the bronze bushings, # D014-077-00, and wet bolts, # 126B2, to use with the Equa-Flex Equalizer. Or combine the bushings, wet bolts, and 1/2 inch shackle straps with # K71-358-00.
Yes, the main bolt that attaches the Equa-Flex to the hanger can be replaced with the same wet bolt, # 126B2. You can also use the same bronze bushing, # D014-077-00, here too.
