Troubleshooting A Tekonsha Primus Brake Controller With Flashing Codes

Question:

My brake controller reads out is flashing two . .at top and two - - at bottom whether if trailer is hooked up or unhooked.

On your Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160, those flashing read outs usually mean that the controller is mounted at too high or too low of an angle for proper use. The exact code you gave is not in the reference guide. I recommend disconnecting the quick connect wiring and removing the unit from the mount. Then reconnect the wires holding the unit level.
