According to the current installation instructions, to install Curt Trailer Hitch, # 13354 on your 2008 Acura MDX, you will need a 3/8 inch drive ratchet, 22mm 3/8 inch drive socket, 10mm 3/8 inch drive socket, and a torque wrench. I have included a link to the installation details for reference. I would also add that it helps to have someone help hold up the hitch when bolting it to the vehicle.
If you plan on doing some towing, the recommended ball mount is # C45010 with pin and clip # PC3. You can use ball # 19260 (1-7/8 inch diameter), # 19247 (2 inch diameter), or # 63847 (2-5/16 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, you would need T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # 118424. I have included a link to the installation details and a video showing installation.
